HEALTH-CHEM DIAGNOSTICS (HCD) manufactures point-of-care medical diagnostic products for use at home, in physician offices, and other healthcare locations and markets them worldwide through multiple distribution channels under its own Health-Chem Diagnostics brand as well as OEM (original equipment manufacture) and private label programs.

HCD’s key diagnostic products on the market and in development include its Health-Chem Diagnostics brand of at home testing and screening products, noninvasive TD Glucose™ Monitoring System for diabetics to monitor glucose levels, Health-Chem Diagnostics Total and HDL Cholesterol Home Screening Tests, professional use TriMeter™ system for analytical monitoring of Total and HDL Cholesterol and blood glucose from a finger-stick, Drug of Abuse screening tests available in HCD’s branded ScanGuard™ and private label One-Step slide, strip or multi-test cassette formats, and Over-The Counter and professional pregnancy and fertility family planning products in multiple formats – including HCD’s accurate and easy to use One Step™ One Minute Pregnancy Test One Minute™ Disptream Wand.

Health-Chem Diagnostics Worldwide

The company’s products are distributed worldwide under both OEM marketing relationships with multinational pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies as well as direct and indirect marketing of HCD’s own Health-Chem Diagnostics and private-label brands.

In the OEM sector, most of HCD’s tests for pregnancy and fertility are sold through corporate distributors as well as independent distributors around the world. HCD’s brands which are available at approximately 33,600 chain and independent pharmacies, mass merchandise and catalog retailers, and grocery stores in the United States and Canada for at-home use by consumers.

International expansion of the Company’s OEM family planning testing and screening products is ongoing. In 2003, HCD opened its international sales and marketing office in Milan, Italy to focus on expanding distribution of the Company’s core diagnostic products in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Product sales and/or registration of HCD’s products are ongoing for International and Nationwide markets.
